Bio

I am a first-chair trial lawyer with broad experience handling jury trials and bench trials in federal and state courts and arbitration hearings under AAA, FINRA, and other rules.

Representative cases include disputes over fiduciary duties owed by corporate managers and business partners; claims of unfair competition; the rights of copyright, trademark and trade secret owners; fraudulent transfers; misrepresentations of investment opportunities; and breach of complex commercial contracts. I have represented major Wall Street investment banks, international manufacturers and retailers, software companies, and individual owners of global businesses.

My writings on the subjects of shareholder litigation, arbitration law, antitrust law, and non-compete agreements have been published by Westlaw Journal — Delaware Corporate, the Stockholm Arbitration Review, the Practical Law Company, and Law360.

Before law school, I received a Ph.D. at Columbia University, where I taught the core curriculum and other college classes. After receiving my J.D. at Columbia, I served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Legrome D. Davis, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and practiced in the New York offices of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP.

You can find occasional musings on the law and litigation at my blog: here.
